Rugby is alive and well at Felixton College. As the College grows in numbers, our teams are growing in strength.
"The rugby season at Felixton College is always an explosive and emotional time for the boys who take to the field in their College jerseys. There is particular passionate pride in donning the College jersey which lifts us above our limitations" - Joshua Loudon, Captain 1st XV 2009."
The rugby season is a busy one with our Junior and Senior teams participating in many games and festivals (Asjas Steenkamp, Peter Terry-Lloyd, Vryheid High School and, of course, our own Gestetner/Felixton College Rugby Festival).
The Gestetner/Felixton College Rugby Festival was described in last year's Zululand Observer (by journalist Mike Harrison) as "Zululands' premier rugby event." 2011will see 10 schools, from all over South Africa, playing exciting rugby and providing the many spectators with wonderful entertainment. This festival takes place from 8 - 11 April.
Rugby is played on our two new fields and on the Dickson Oval.
