A Deputy Head has been appointed to
lead Felixton Primary School through the next exciting stage in its
growth and development. Mr Craig McIlrath has an MEd degree and
comes to us after 4 years in White River where he was Deputy Head at
Uplands Preparatory School. He will take up the post at the
beginning of the second term 2010.
Mr McIlrath brings a wealth of experience in the classroom, on the sports field and in the area of school management. He is a well known Primary School educationalist, not only in the Lowveld, but also in Gauteng where he taught at St John’s Preparatory for 7 years. He is a keen all round sportsman, artist and sailor.
Mrs Vanessa McIlrath is also a Primary School teacher, specialising in Art and Drama. She currently teaches at Penryn College in Nelspruit. They have a daughter in Grade 5 and a son in Grade 1. We look forward to welcoming them into the Felixton family and hope they will be happy and fulfilled in Zululand.
